Music Documentary Round-up

Have limited time to write today, so I figured I use the opportunity to share some excellent films about music with all of you all.  Enjoy.

1.  The Velvet Underground- South Bank Show.  This covers the bands career, features great interviews and awesome footage.  It is especially timely, since the groups front man, Lou Reed, passed on yesterday.

2.  There is No Authority But Yourself.  This documents the career of anarchopunk pioneers Crass.

3.  Captain Beefheart. This covers the life and career of one of the most experimental and bizarre figures to emerge in music during the 1960s.

4.  The Art of Punk-Black Flag:  Discusses the artwork associated with punk legends Black Flag.  Excellent!

5.  The Day the Country Died-A History of Anarcho Punk.  Another documentary about anarchopunk, this one details all the major groups in the movement.
